Puzzlium Terms, Conditions & Privacy Policy

By using Puzzlium you agree with the Terms listed below. We are committed to keeping any and all personal information collected from you accurate, confidential, secure, and private.

Collecting Information
We automatically collect your user name, profile picture, online status, achievements, high scores. Also we collect information about the puzzle you solve, create, and share, including the time, date, authorship, number of puzzles you have solved, created, and shared, information about the users who have solved and/or shared puzzles created by you, and other data related to the puzzle. This Information is used to identify you as a user and some of its part is visible to other users in Puzzlium.

When you use Facebook, Google+, or Twitter to connect to Puzzlium we request default permissions which include some basic minimum information. We may collect your account ID for identification purposes and use your full name or username when content created by you is publicly displaying. Also, we collect information about your device/software type and language, access times, pages viewed, and your IP address.

Using Information
We may use the information about you to: assist in the operation of Puzzlium and ensure delivery of the services you need and request; inform you of other possible products and/or services from our company; respond to your comments, questions, and requests; monitor and analyze activities in connection with Puzzlium; and prevent inappropriate, unauthorized, or illegal activity.

We do not share your information / the information about you with third parties unless we receive your permission.

We may disclose the information about you, without prior notice to you, only if required to do so pursuant to applicable laws and/or in a good faith belief that such action is deemed necessary or required to: conform to decrees, laws and/or statutes or in an effort to comply with any process which may be served upon the product; safeguard and/or preserve all the rights and/or property of the product; and perform under demanding conditions in an effort to safeguard the personal safety of users of and/or the general public.

Sharing Your Puzzles
You own all of the puzzles you create and post on Puzzlium. You grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use puzzles that you post on or in connection with Puzzlium.

Stars Turnover
You are credited with free Stars when first time open Puzzlium.

Spending Stars: (a) 5 Stars are spent to open a puzzle for the first time only. Any subsequent openings of the puzzle are free.
(b) 1 Star is spent to use each unique Hint. (c) 1 Star is spent to publish your own puzzle. (d) All uses of Stars are final and non-refundable.

Earning Stars: (a) 3 Stars are earned when you solve a puzzle, excluding a puzzle you authored. (b) 1 Star is earned when you share a puzzle for the first time on a social media or send it over email, excluding the puzzles you authored. (c) 0.7 Star is earned each time any other user opens a puzzle you authored.

By solving a puzzle, you earn Experience, which you can exchange into Stars. The Experience-to-Stars exchange rate is defined by social interaction and changes live every minute.

To get more Stars: (a) Create new puzzles to earn Stars from other users. (b) Finish puzzles you've opened but not solved. (c) Share more puzzles. (d) Exchange your earned Experience into Stars. (e) Buy Stars via the in-app purchase in the Stars menu.

Protecting Copyright
We are not responsible for the puzzles you have created and posted on Puzzlium. However, we respect other people's rights, and expect that you will not create and post puzzles on Puzzlium that infringe or violates someone else's rights. We can remove any puzzle you post on Puzzlium if we believe that it violates other people's rights. In this case you will have an opportunity to appeal if you believe we removed your puzzle by mistake.

Children
We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen (13) without verifiable parental consent. If it is determined that such information has been inadvertently collected on anyone under the age of thirteen, we shall immediately take the necessary steps to ensure that such information is deleted from our system's database. Anyone under the age of thirteen must seek and obtain parent or guardian permission to use Puzzlium.

Unsubscribe or Opt-Out
All users of Puzzlium have the option to discontinue receiving communication from us and/or reserve the right to discontinue receiving communications by way of email or newsletters. To discontinue or unsubscribe to Puzzlium please send an email that you wish to unsubscribe to. If you wish to unsubscribe or opt-out from any third party websites, you must go to that specific website to unsubscribe and/or opt-out.

Links to Other Apps/Websites
Puzzlium does contain links to affiliate and other apps/websites. We do not claim nor accept responsibility for any privacy policies, practices and/or procedures of other such websites. The aforementioned Privacy Policy applies only and solely to the information collected by Puzzlium.

Security
We do our best to protect information about you from misuse, loss, theft, unauthorized use, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. We try to keep Puzzlium bug-free and safe, but cannot make guarantees about any part of Puzzlium and/or services.

Changes to Privacy Policy
If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by publication it here with revising the date at the top of the Privacy Policy. We may also add a note on our website or send you a notification about the Privacy Policy update.

Acceptance of Terms
Through the use of Puzzlium, you are hereby accepting the terms and conditions stipulated within the aforementioned Privacy Policy. If you are not in agreement with our terms and conditions, then you should refrain from further use of Puzzlium. In addition, your continued use of Puzzlium following the posting of any updates or changes to our terms and conditions shall mean that you are in agreement and acceptance of such changes.

Law
We are based in the United States and the information we collect is governed by U.S. law. By accessing or using Puzzlium and/or services or otherwise providing information to us, you consent to the processing and transfer of information in and to the U.S. and other countries.
